Yamileth relax to Marshall's touch and she closes her eyes. He climbs into bed next to her and he takes her hand, stroking it softly.
"How are you feeling?" Marshall asked Yamileth.
Yamileth gently shake her head.
"I feel so tired," Yamileth answered.
Yamileth is still suffering hyperemesis gravidarum and just finished throwing up her dinner.
"I understand," Marshall said.
"I just want to sleep," Yamileth said.
"Don't worry, I'll be here for the rest of the night. I won't leave you," Marshall said.
Marshall settles in with her under the sheets. He gently lifts her head so that it rests on his arm. Yamileth snuggles into his side. Even at her weakest point, Marshall makes her feel better.
Yamileth lets herself inhale Marshall's scent as he presses her close to his chest, gently stroking her hair.
"M, I think we should announce it," Yamileth said.
"Is that what you really want?" Marshall asked her.
Yamileth nods.
"Yeah," Yamileth answered.
"Alright, let's announce it tomorrow on Mother's Day," Marshall said.
"Okay," Yamileth said.
Yamileth feels his lips press against her head.
"Go to sleep," Marshall said as she buries her face into his chest.
They both suddenly hear a knock on the door and shortly after that, Hannah and Hailie appears by the door.
"We just came to check up on you before we go to bed," Hailie said.
Yamileth gave them a weak smile.
"She just needs some rest," Marshall said.
Hannah placed a tea tray next to the nightstand.
"Here's some salted caramel chocolate and saltine crackers and green tea," Hannah said.
"Thank you guys, I appreciate the concern," Yamileth said.
"Good night, girls," Marshall said.
"Good night," Hailie said.
"Good night," Yamileth said.
"Good night," Hannah said before they made their way out of the room.
Yamileth's eyelids grow heavy that she can't help but close her eyes and go to sleep.
