I sigh angrily, looking at the list of bodyguards provided to me by these morons.

Me: "This fucker, right here!"

I point to a man named 'Jack Reacher.'

Me: "He's a fictional character, you dumb fucks!"

I slap the list against the head bodyguard's chest.

Me: "Get the fuck out of my dressing room and don't come back until you give me some actually fucking candidates!"

The man stumbled back, holding the list in his hands.

He looked at me like he was going to say something.

Me: "What!? Got something on your mind!?"

He shook his head.

John: "No ma'am."

I pin y to the door.

Me: "Then get the fuck out!"

He walked away without a further word.

I let out an aggregated sigh as I walked toward the couch.

I plop down, and Ahri looked at me with concern.

Ahri: "Eve, you shouldn't talk to our guards like that."

I snap at her.

Me: "Yeah and what are they gonna do? Quit? I've got sixteen more men ready to take their fucking spots at the drop of a hat."

Ahri frowned, but before she could say anything, I felt two very familiar arms wrap around me.

Kai'sa: "She's right... They're good bodyguards, they do their job well. Plus, everyone deserves to be treated with respect."

I scoffed.

Me: "You're telling me murderers deserve respect? or how about rapists? or even pedophiles?"

She sighed.

Kai'sa: "Not them, but—"

Me: "Your point is already wrong, not everyone deserves respect."

She sighed defeatedly.

Kai'sa: "You know what I meant Evie."

She squeezed me tightly.

Kai'sa: "We get that you're frustrated but please, show a little compassion."

I rolled my eyes.

Me: "Yeah, whatever."

I gave these dumbasses two weeks to come up with a list of potential hires and they gave me complete shit in exchange.

She lets me go and walks over to Akali, who was quietly eating a cookie in the corner.

I sigh internally.

I'll just have to look on my own—

The door suddenly swings open.

???: "Sorry to intrude! But we've got the new hire you wanted."

I didn't approve any hires, what the hell are they talking about?

I turn around.

Holy fuck.

An absolute unit of a man stood there.

Fully dressed up in a suit and tie.

His face was stern, serious, almost angry I'd say.

His posture excused confidence and power.
