Hello, and welcome to my first attempt at participating in an ONC event. Each year I let ONC pass by, saying I don't have time for it anyway. This year, I'm tossing that excuse to the side. I still don't have the time, but I'm going to try and not let that stop me. This story is inspired by the 2023 ONC #33 writing prompt.
