Amelia was in the middle of writing an album, recording it, doing press and movie premieres and needless to say the poor girl was exhausted. She was happy that it was all finally working out, she was surrounded by amazing people and her life couldn't be better, but she knew something was missing.
Her album writing was doing amazing, she definitely had a hard time relating to some of the lyrics she was herself writing, about love, about loss, but she knew that's what her fans loved, and it still felt authentic as she was writing what she was longing for so long, love.
On his side, Jack was doing extremely well. He was busy with press for Scream IV, Avatar: the way of water was doing amazing in the charts and people seem to love him, he couldn't believe he actually had fans.
The two friends met through Sofia Wylie, who happened to be in a movie with Jamie Flatters, Jack's best friend who both worked on Avatar; the Way of Water together.
When they met, they instantly clicked. Jack immediately let her know how he loved her music, her writing, her voice. He easily got embarrassed after rambling to a girl he had just met about how he loved her, and he thought he had screwed up the minimal amount of chance he could've had with the girl. However, Amelia loved it. She found it very cute how he turned red the second he catched up with what he was saying, he kept apologizing, if it felt weird to the girl, which she reassured him it didn't. And for some twisted reason that the universe had, they became closer than ever.
