"Will y'all stop for God's sake ??"
My friends have been constantly teasing me about the kiss Ezekiel and I shared in front of everyone. I mean people do kiss on public right ? But just because it's Ezekiel and me, that's causing all the unnecessary hype.
" Oh godd Ezekiel is so whipped for you. " Enid says.
" I swear to god he was so jealous. He seemed as if he'll rip Flint apart." Iris joins her.
" I guess he was just protective and that's a better and more decent way of saying it." Claire says patting my thigh.
" Did I ever tell you that your the most sensible person in our group ?" I ask her while she just laughs.
" Meanie." Enid pokes my shoulder.
We're in the cafe now. I was super hungry and after eating I'll text Ezekiel to come and pick me up.
The waiter brought me my jam doughnuts and a fresh cup of tea. They were warm and fluffy and generously dusted with powdered sugar. I took out my phone and took a snap of it. Snaps are mandatory for good food.
I took a bite of fun and it was filled with strawberry jam. Too good but I shared it cuz I can't eat so many :( but the fried chicken Enid ordered was amazing.
" Btw what's going on between you and Felix ?" I asked Enid. I have Ezekiel's friends numbers so we do text. They are really nice people. It feels like I have four overprotective brothers.
" What ? Nothing obviously. " Her cheeks turn slightly pink.
" Oh of course there's something going on. He texted me yesterday asking about what kind of date you would like the best."
"Your joking right ?"
" I'm not. I swear I'm not."
" What did you tell him."
" I told him you really like barns and asylums and lots of food." Claire burst out laughing.
" Wtf ? Seriously Aria ?" Enid said worried and she's not the kind of person who worries easily.
" Awww someone's tensed. " Iris pulled Enid's cheeks as if she was a little baby. Well she was the baby of our group. I swear I could never be angry on her.
" Don't worry I didn't. I said any place that gives out princess and floral vibes and anyplace that's pink or like bookstore. "
" Thank God. I really thought you said that." She said relaxing.
" Now would you mind telling us whatever is going on between you two ?" Luna smiled.
" Yeah you know it's a sin to hide things from your friends. You might end up in hell." Claire joked.
" Very funny. Anyways see like we haven't got that couple thingy on yet but we both do feel a pull towards one another and he asked me if he could take me out on a date. So I agreed. "
" Awwweeee." I said giving her a hug. " When are you going and what are you wearing."
" We're going tonight and I'm a little confused about what I should wear."
" Wear that pink sweetheart neckline dress you have." I told her.
" Isn't that a gown sort of thing ?" Iris asked.
" No no it reaches mid thigh. It's really pretty. "
" Sure ?"
" Sure ? Isn't pink your favourite colour ?" Claire said as she finished gulping the remaining of her coffee.
" Of course it is but will it be suitable for a date ?"
" Girl look if he loves you like actually loves you then he'll be supportive and respect your choices. " Iris said.
" Yeah and he's a very chill guy. And he's totally like you trust me. Yesterday Ezekiel told me that he got this weird orange coloured suit." I laughed.
" Okay then wish me luck. " That's the Enid I know. My confident bestie.
" Don't worry everything will be fine." Luna assured her.
" Guys I think I'll ask Ezekiel to come over now. How are y'all leaving. " I said looking at my watch.
" Felix is picking me up and these three are going to the new makeup store I believe ?"
" Yessss. "
" Okay then I've texted him. He's asked me to wait at gate number 4. Bye then and send me all the details. " I said looking at Enid.
" Byeeeeee." She kissed my cheek.
When I reached gate number 4 he was already there. Like how fast is this guy ? Before I could open the car door for myself he was already standing with door held open for me.
" Your going to spoil me." I said getting in. He got in as well.
" You deserve to be spoiled." He pecked my cheek. " Btw I'm taking you to my home. "
" What ? Why ?"
" Because it doesn't feel like home when your not there and I've already got your stuff shifted."
" When did you even do that ?" I am too stunned right now.
" Today morning. " He winks. All I can do is pout not that I'm unhappy shifting to his house. Hehehe.
The rest of the ride was quite because I decided to take a quick nap. When we reached he told me that him and I will be staying in his room and all my stuff was already organised in the closet. He's on a call right now while I shower and get dressed in some comfy shorts and an oversized tshirt. He comes and he looks at me from head to toe.
" What happened ?" I ask.
" No-nothing." He stutters. Wtf he stuttered. Wait wait is it because I'm wearing shorts ? 😳
" I'll just shower and umm then we can have dinner." He says. And I just manage to nod my head. Shit I'm suddenly so shy although it's totally unnecessary.
I'm standing near the window looking outside. I feel a presence behind me. I turn around and it's Ezekiel and he's shirtless and his hair is still slightly wet from the shower. Omg. He's only wearing trackpants. And man he's gorgeous. Too gorgeous.
" Ummm I'll probably go outside and you can get dressed." I say nervously.
" Aria." He says and he stops me by holding on to my hand. " Did Flint bother you again ?" I shake my head as a know.
" Why are you still thinking about him ?" I ask.
" I don't know honestly. I was just...you know I hate it when some other guy even looks at you. You know I can't lose you right ?"
" Don't worry you won't." He stares at me, my lips and he leans in and gently kisses me. I slowly respond.
He holds me by my waist and I'm too hesitant to wrap my hands around him. I'm seeing him shirtless for the first time for God's sake. He suddenly holds my hands and wraps them around his neck. I guess if I look at myself in the mirror right now then I must be looking like a freaking beetroot. While kissing he slowly walks us towards the bed and he hovers above me.
He trails kisses all along my jaw and upper neck, causing my grip to tighten on him immensely. His one hand holds me in place while the other was under my shirt tracing circles on my stomach. " Ezekiel" I breathe out his name. He stops from going down any further and he looks at me with eyes full with love.
" May I ?" He asks. I blush.
" You know you have all rights on me ?" Thats all I could manage to say.
" It's not about rights, it's about consent love." He fondly kisses my forehead. I give him a shy nod. And he made me feel loved and cherished all night.
