Chapter 5

after a few minutes Rick decided to relax for a bit that was until his phone went off

Rick;the hell?
Rick said as he pulled out his phone

As he does he sees that Megan texted him asking if they could meet somewhere...normally if it was anyone else from the team except superboy than he'll just say fuck you but it was Megan

Rick sighs as he sits up from where he was relaxing from
Rick; damn and I just found a good spot to relax at
Rick said as he stands up

Yae looks towards him with a confused look
Yae;Rick what is wrong
Yae asked as she looked towards him

Rick;oh it's nothing I'm just going to see some friends of mine so I'll be back in a bit
Rick said as he starts to walk away from the shrine

Yae;okay but be back soon or I'll get mad
Yae said as she pouts a bit as she missed a chance to tease him

(Time skip)

After walking for a while he finds Megan and superboy relaxing at a bench so he crosses the street (he looked both ways Incase of truck-kun) and walks out to them.

Rick; hey guys how has it been
Rick said as he sits next to them

Superboy; you know same old stuff only we have a new member this time
Superboy said as he cracks his neck

Megan; yeah her name is Zatanna and she can use magic
Megan said as she was a bit exited to talk about their new member

Rick sees that superboy and Megan were holding hands
Rick;I guess that not the only things that happened
Rick said as he looks towards them

Superboy got what Rick was implying and nods
Superboy; yeah I guess so anyways what have you been doing since you know
Superboy said as he looked a bit sad

Rick sighs as he rubs his neck a bit
Rick;well I've been training more and I met someone who's been helping me improve some thing with my fighting style though she's a bit of a tease sometimes
Rick said as he relaxes a bit more

Megan; I see
Megan said as she and superboy looked towards Rick

After that they continued to talk and eventually it took a few hour before Megan and superboy decided to head back to mount justice and they said they're farewell to Rick before leaving...right now Rick was heading back to the shrine as he promised Yae to return to the shrine when he was done talking with superboy and Megan.

When he returned to the shrine he was met with Yae and she was not happy

Yae;your late
Yae said as sparks of lighting dances around her hands

Rick; wait Yae I swear I got here on time
Rick said as he check the time and saw it had been 4 hours meaning he a late by 1 hour

Rick;oh shit
Rick said as Yae towers over him

Rick:wait please Yae don't!!!
Rick said before he gets electrocuted by Yae

Rick:aaaaaaahhhhhh!!!
Rick's screams can be heard through the forest as flashes of pink appears in the forest.

(The next day)

Rick was training through he was covered in bandages due to yesterday's event... right now Rick was using his power to create a blade made of energy as Yae wanted to see how he does with a sword.

Rick swings the energy like sword a few times as he blocks some stones being thrown at him by Yae

Rick;okay so why are you throwing stones at me?
Rick asks as he blocked another stone

Yae;because you have to have a good reaction time and good reflexes
Yae said as she grabbed another stone
