    aurora was bored as she was always, so she decided to go to a diner, by herself of course because none of her friends or family live in indiana

    she made it to the diner and was seated at her table, while she was looking over the menu even after she already had ordered someone sat in front of her

    "hey" they say as aurora looks up with a confused face

    "and you are" she says, she didn't know this person, especially since they randomly sat in front of her

    "james, and you are" he says

    "aurora, why are you sitting here, just curious" aurora asks

   "pretty name, i came here alone, i saw you here alone and thought you might want some company" james says

    "fine, i'll have some company, just don't be weird" she says as he laughs

    aurora wouldn't be lying if she said she found him somewhat attractive, she was bored and most of her friends were busy, maybe she could finally have a friend in indiana

    she was constantly at home alone, she mainly got a cat because she was tired of being alone, her family and friends were all in canada, she moved to indiana just to get away for a bit, then it turned into a forever thing

   "so what brings you here in indiana" james says

    "i moved here a couple of years ago, i didn't grow up here, just needed something new, you" aurora explains

    "oh i grew up here, never really left the state" he says

    "maybe you could show me around some places you know, never been far from this town" she says

    "yeah, when's the next time your free" he says

    "any day really, don't really have any friends here or family, kinda sucks" aurora says

    "came here alone then, that means we'll have more time to explore" james says

    "here's your pancakes, eggs and bacon, enjoy" the waitress says placing the food in front of aurora

    "want some, i'll probably not finish it all myself" aurora says grabbing the syrup

    "yeah sure, it does look good" james says as aurora hands him a fork and she places the plate in between them

    aurora would have never thought of meeting someone new, he is a complete stranger to her but that's the start of a new friend

    they ate the breakfast foods and talked about all sorts of stuff to get to know each other a bit more

    james insisted to pay, aurora said she could but he still paid anyways, once they left the diner james walked aurora to her car

    "hey, since we both have nothing else to do and you walked here, want to go to my apartment" aurora asks

    "yeah sure" james smiles as they get inside aurora's car
