    james had told aurora that he was having some friends over for dinner, so she had to prepare something for them, she was happy he was inviting people over, it's been very lonely in the apartment

    "hey guys, this is my girlfriend aurora" james says as they find aurora in the kitchen, she waved at them

    "we'll be in the living room" he says as he grabs a couple
of beers from the refrigerator

    once aurora was done making dinner she set up the table and made sure everything was at least presentable

    "this is amazing aurora" one of his friends says as the others agree while eating

    "thank you" aurora smiled

    "do you usually cook or are you more into baking" another friend says

    "i like baking more but i'm better at cooking, i'm still trying to get something in baking" aurora says

    after they were done eating aurora took the plates into the kitchen, putting them in the sink for later when she would wash them

    she grabbed a couple of beers and handed them out to everyone as she placed the leftover in the middle of the table, they were just talking and drinking

    "and then when i told her the snake was behind her she started screaming, it was fake the whole time" his friend laughed as he was telling a story

    "britney was always a dumbass, she would believe in anything" another one of his friends say

    while they talked and laughed, aurora tried to intertwine her hand with james but he didn't let her and just put her hand on the table as he continued to talk to his friends

    aurora just looked at him so confused, she drank her beer and sat back in her chair

    as aurora was cleaning off the plates and taking off any leftover pieces of food james placed more plates in the sink, then looked at her

    "why are you so pissed off" james says

    "i'm not pissed off, who said i was" aurora says with no expression, she was tired of him already

    "because you're acting pissed off, it's ridiculous, it really is" james says, "these are my friends, they were super fucking nice to you too" he says getting annoyed

    "no i liked your friends, they were cool and they were nice to me, they aren't the problem here" she says

    "then why are you acting like this then" he says

    "i just didn't like the way you acted around them" she says turning around from the sink

    "you were being weird and quiet the entire time, you hardly ever talked to them" james says raising his voice

    "i was not being weird, how was i being weird" aurora says also raising her voice, she couldn't let him always be the only one raising their voice

    "you were the entire night, you wouldn't even acknowledge me and you wouldn't even talk to me, the whole night"

    "that's bullshit, that's fucking bullshit" james rolls his eyes

    "you dropped my fucking hand, what am i supposed to do with that" aurora shouted throwing her hands in the air

    "i didn't even fucking notice your hand or even drop it" james says

    "i don't know any of these people, they're all strangers, i've never seen them ever, i don't know anything about them" aurora continues to shout

    "but i don't even know what the hell your talking about" he says trying to defend himself, there was nothing to defend

    "i feel so out of place, it's not like how i would be like with other people and you were the only one there who i felt comfortable with" she says

    "why are you making this all about you" he says

    "i'm catching up with some friends that i haven't spoken to in a long time and literally saying i dropped your hand, like i don't remember the moment i ever did"

    "how can you be yelling at me for something i don't even remember doing or are you just trying to get some attention"

    "you're making me feel like i'm losing my fucking mind" aurora says

    "i'm making you lose your mind, you're holding me over something i didn't even do, your yelling at me, i'm trying to hang out with my friends and have a couple of beers but this is how it has to end" james says

    "i can't believe you, your acting so selfish right now"

    "oh so i'm selfish now, i'm being the selfish one here, you didn't even look at me or talk to me the entire night" aurora says

    "i don't know why you're still trying to make this night about you, i'm sorry your friends fucking hate you and don't talk to you but these are my friends" james says

    "oh you are such a fucking asshole" she says throwing a rag she had been using at him

    "what, how am i the fucking asshole" he says grabbing the towel and slamming it on the table

    "i've lost three important people in my life and your acting as if they were just some friends, they were there when no one was, i would do anything to just talk to them again" she says

    "how can three people you met online be important in your life, you can't be serious right now, you guys play minecraft for a living, in your twenties and playing a kid's game" he says

    "you don't understand, it may just seem like were only playing minecraft but it means so much more" she says

    "i can't deal with this shit anymore, first you ignore me and act differently, then you start getting mad because i am calling you out on something you one hundred percent did, and now your trashing my friends and me"

    aurora began to cry, she hated james and how he was today and every other day, she hated how she couldn't talk to her friends, she missed them, she just wanted everything to be okay

    "hey, hey, hey, hey" james says going close to aurora, then wrapping his arms around her

    "i'm sorry, i'm sorry" he says then kisses her forehead

    "i don't want us fighting"

    she hated when they did, she hated when he would yell, and when she tried to defend herself it would just go into more yelling, then he makes her feel as if she was the monster

    when it was only ever him the whole time
