she heard footsteps and laughter and turned around to see him, sapnap

"patches was laying on george and scar saw so he also went and laid on him, it's so funny" sapnap laughed as he sat on the grass as aurora smiled

"here, i brought us some snacks, i had to hide them before anyone got to them before us" he says handing her some candy

"this was really nice of you, even if it's in our backyard" aurora laughed

"you're welcome, i did threaten the both of them if they came outside so i don't think they will" he laughs

they held each other's hands, them being intertwined with love and affection

"aurora" sapnap says

"yeah" aurora says looking at him

"i love you on your good days and on your bad ones, when you said you hated me and i felt like an asshole, when you cried to me on the phone, when you would come to me when you couldn't sleep"

"i love you too nick" aurora says as their bodies attract and press against each other with their lips touching

they didn't let go, this kiss was deep and passionate, it was like they were the only ones on planet earth, like the whole world was ahead of them

they had been waiting for this day for years, for them to be together, things getting in the way but it was all worth it in the end, them now having each other and living together

and aurora and sapnap were finally not apart, not being miles and miles away, states away, they were together only steps or inches away from each other

nothing could keep them from being apart, not long distance, not asshole exes, not ruined friendships, not them messing up, nothing

they finally had each other, they were no longer apart, and their two worlds had become one

(context/info) some things to know about the fanfic;

1) aurora was going to name scar "theo" but when sapnap mentioned giving her a scar she decided on scar because of him

2) dream always spoiled/surprised aurora with food because he knew about her eating habits and always made sure she had food in her body

3) aurora was never comfortable with sexual activity due to guys using her, that's why she never lead james to that way and sapnap knew so he always asked her for consent

4) aurora's brownie recipe was her moms, when she was little her and her mom made those brownies for special occasions until her parents got a divorce and separated, she makes them for her friends to feel what she felt with her mom

5) when dream found out sapnap was being rude to aurora he distanced himself from the group because he kept telling himself it was his fault, he lied and said he was really sick
