Let's say, more than a couple of days later. From Sunday to a Thursday, Mephito alas had time to inspect and just do a genuine check on Leon's body. If he weren't so busy with the guest, he would've been checking on him once every two days.

"Ah, leon, you're here. I apologize for all the recent delays so far."

*Mephito doesn't go into detail, not like leon should know. He's powerless! He didn't expect any context for why, anyway. Mephito did checkups ranging from 30 minutes to an hour and a half*

"..Oi, Mephito?"

*leon lightly hissed for him as mephito was looking around his body, treating the 'love' bites from deus.*

"Yes, Leon?"

"So, Dottore."

"I know you won't exactly spill anything to me, but do you know anything regarding his past? What he's ever done? Has he told you anything remotely close?"

Leon asks, looking down and avoiding direct eye contact

mephito finds it rather amusing. leon was curious and suspicious.

"..oh? Not really, the guests' background isn't our top priority. He is here to assist us."

||Leon's POV||

'What could that smiling rat bastard possibly 'assist them' with..? All he's good for is research and testing kids.'

That thought stirred deep into my mind. Reminding myself he has godlike powers, being a second rank of a scale of a few people.

"I see, I won't bother asking more. I expect the answers to be silent."

I scoff, and mephito pats my knee, a gesture he was now done, I quickly dusted myself off, fixing myself before leaving, walking down the halls.

.. while walking, I encounter the doctor, Dottore again.

"Oh my leon, how I've missed you so, tell me, are you having fun here? Is it different?..

I stopped, instantly frozen.

"..."

A moment of silence is shared, his masked face simply staring at me

"Oh piss off Zandik, anything is better without you.."

I stood at a good distance away. Making sure I had a chance to put a fight or run

"But leon! You didn't miss me at all???"

He smirked, that ugly bastard smirked.

"No, your smile is what makes me gag. What are you doing here?"

I tilt my head, folding my arms. If mephito wasn't telling me, maybe this guy would?

"Oh, nothing much. Just a couple of things I need for testing, and I'll be on my way."

He laughs, and I grimace.

"..like what?"

I asked once more, testing my patience.

"You'll see sooner or later"

The doctor ends his words before nearing closer to me, I flinched as he raised his hand slowly to my chin, frozen. I was frozen like a deer in headlights, I quickly slapped his hand away and gave him a disgusted look.

"Don't you dare try touch me."

"Not after what you've done, Zandik."

I growl before taking off.
