T H R E E "ready for japan?"
"AURORA!" A FEMALE voice yelled as the girl turned around, spotting her best friend sasha
"sasha! hey" she said as they hugged smiling at each other "quick warm up before practice?" sasha asked her friend
aurora smiled and nodded, as the two played, joking around and playing bad on purpose
they took a seat in the shade to talk "still with coach kelce?" sasha asked as aurora sighed nodding
"we don't get along at all.. it's so hard to keep playing tennis" aurora spoke as sasha nodded her head understanding
"well your in the finals for tennis in japan. you don't talk about that often." sasha spoke making aurora smile
"i probably won't even make it into the finals. it's in a few days and my coach hasn't even mentioned it to me." aurora spoke
sasha shrugged and got up from where she was sitting. "i have to meet my mom for breakfast. it was nice talking to you. don't be so down about japan." sasha winked at the girl
aurora furrowed her eyebrows as she was confused, sasha was acting strange but she shrugged it off
heading back onto the court checking her apple watch, her coach was supposed to be here soon. so she waited patiently before spotting his car pulling up
"aurora, are you ready?" he asked as she nodded, she served as he passed it to her, both of them playing as he pointed out things she could do better
"you don't focus on the ball, so you miss it" he spoke "try to focus on it, and see if you miss it at all" he suggested as she sighed
hitting the ball back and forth as she didn't miss it once besides her being out of breath needing a break
he smiled as they didn't argue once this lesson, he was proud of the girl but he wouldn't admit that yet
"ready for japan?" he asked as she looked at him "yeah" she replied as he nodded "it's in two days. i'll meet you there" he said
she nodded as she grabbed her equipment. "please aurora. practice within these two days." he spoke before he said his goodbyes
she put her equipment into her car, before driving to starbucks for a quick refresher
she got home, taking a shower before packing her suitcase with some things so she can be prepared, packing clothes, some makeup but not all and some other things
she finally sat down on her bed and scrolled through her phone, she decided to post on instagram since she hasn't in a while.
once she posted, she saw a familiar name mentioned in the comments but shrugged it off.

she furrowed her eyebrows at his dm, it was like he was hiding something from her
but yet again aurora didn't know him at all. so she shook the feelings off but couldn't help but feel butterflies rereading the comment mentioning him
it was like he was talking about her to his friends, or at least mentioned her enough to search for her instagram.
she fell asleep but little did she know she would be awake soon and quickly head to the airport
