When I was in high school, I used to skip classes to go to the library. I know, such a nerd, right? But that is how much I love to read.
This story is a reflection of my passion for books.
December 26, 2023
The Christmas morning became so inspirational that I wrote over 6,000 words yesterday of a completed skeletal plot for The Book Nerd's Guide to Falling in Love. I had not intended to, but I just let the words flow out, and here it is.
Some of my favorite authors have varied portfolios. V.E. Schwab writes for all ages—middle grade, young adult, and adult. Marissa Meyer writes Fantasy, Sci-Fi, and Magical Realism. I've wanted to do something different, too. But I won't deviate far from my true genre—Fantasy.
The Book Nerd's Guide to Falling in Love is something along the lines of What Light and Instant Karma. It's something cozy and lovable. It's a Contemporary YA Romance Magical Realism.
I'm targeting to release 2 chapters per week starting in January. But depending on my schedule, I would like to get at least 1 chapter out each week. So stay tuned for this new release!
Happy Reading!
