A Journey of Love and Healing
The heart is full of pain and sorrow,
It's a burden I've tried to outrun.
But you make every wound you heal,
The sun you bring, the warmth you share,
Are medicine for my wounded heart.
Your love sets me free,
And gives me a reason to start.
With love and trust and healing,
We have broken through the pain,
And built a new foundation,
Which I will cherish for life.
We were strangers to one another,
Filled with doubt and apprehension.
But you walked into my life,
Brought love and joy and healing.
The walls of my heart fell down,
When you took me in your arms.
You've given me all I need,
I want us to stay together.
In this short span of time,
We've found a connection deep and true,
With love and trust and healing,
We are ready for this journey anew.
