It is loving with each breath
It is gentle and reassuring

The love of a friend, the kindness of stranger
The warmth of family, the light of good
A gentle touch, a whisper of love
The comfort of knowing you will get through

Healing someone is a time to be brave
It is a fight against pain and fear
It is a leap into the unknown
It is a lesson of patience and trust

To stand by someone's side, to give them strength
It is being the reason they fight on
To support their journey through hardship
To be a shoulder to lean on.
