Chapter 22

"Athena wake up" I hear Dante whisper in my ear. "Let me sleep" I groan. "Athenaaaa" Dante whines. "Dante fuck off" I say, getting annoyed. Suddenly, I get pushed off my bed. "Dante what the fuck is wrong with you!" I yell at him. I immediately bring my hands to the back of my head.

"You wouldn't get up" He says, leaning over the side of the bed. "Fuck.. my head" I groan. "Are you ok?" Dante asks getting off my bed and sitting down on the floor beside me. He picks up my head and lays it on his lap. "No I'm not ok! My head hurts!" I raise my voice at him.

"I'm sorry..." he mumbles, getting up. He picks me up and takes me to his office. He lays me down on the couch in his office and sits down behind his desk. "Try to sleep. If your head still hurts really bad when you wake up then I'll get someone to check it out" he tells me. I fall asleep immediately.

2 hours later

I Wake up to a loud bang. I sit up and see Luna and 2 people standing in the doorway. "Mom? Dad? You aren't supposed to be here today" Dante says. Luna sees me and immediately runs up to me. "Hi princess" I say, smiling at her. "Can I lay with you?" She asks me. "Of course" I say and she climbs onto me.

"I missed you so much" she says, making me smile. "I missed you to princess" I say. "Dante, who is she?" I hear his mom say. "My girlfriend" He says, looking at me. "No she is not! You are not allowed to date that poor slut! She is just using you!" His dad yells, making me flinch a bit.

"Luna, go to my room and lay down in my bed" I say. She nods and walks out of the room. I get up and walk over to Dante. Dante sees I'm shaking and pulls me into his lap. "Shit are you ok?" He asks with a worried look on his face. I nod. "Amore your not ok, your shaking" he says.

"I'm ok I promise" I tell him. "Dante, you will not date her!" His dad yells again, but Dante ignores him. "Don't lie to me" he says. "I just don't like yelling" I mumble. "Dante stop fucking ignoring me!" His dad yells, making me flinch really badly. "Dad if you don't shut the fuck up I won't hesitate to kill you" Dante says.

"Maybe I should just go" I say. "No, your not leaving" Dante says, holding me tightly. "Dante, your parents obviously don't like me. I shouldn't be here" I say, trying to get off him. "I don't care if they like you or not. I like you so your not leaving" He says, holding me tighter. "Dante, your holding me to tightly" I say and he loosens his hold on me.

"You should leave. If you don't leave now your going to end up dead. We know how he is with people" Dante's mom says. "I'd kill him before he could even come close to killing me" I say. "You 2 need to leave" Dante says to his parents. "We are your parents you can't just kick us out!" His mom yells, making me flinch again.

"You won't stop yelling so I can kick you out" Dante says. He grabs his phone and 2 guys come in. They take Dante's parents out. "Athena, I'm so sorry. I didn't know they were coming today" Dante says with a guilty look on his face. "I don't understand what I did wrong" I say, trying not to cry. "Amore you didn't do anything wrong" he says. "Your parents already hate me and I have only known them for 5 minutes" I say, starting to cry.

"Your parents don't like me either. It's fine we don't need their approval" he says, giving me his phone. "Why don't you play some games on my phone while I finish up my work. After I finish working we can go out to eat" he says. "What about Luna?" I say, opening a game on his phone. "Aphrodite and Antonio are going to take care of her" he says.

2 hours later

"Dante I'm bored hurry up" I groan, wanting to go eat. "I'm almost done" he says, smiling. His computer dings and he frowns. "Are you fucking kidding me" he says, annoyed. "What's wrong?" I ask, confused. "Anastasia's father is going to be here in 5 minutes for a last minute meeting" Dante groans, shutting off his computer.

"Can you go change quickly?" He asks and I nod. I get off his lap and walk out of his office. I go into my closet and find a random dress. I put it on and put on my new shoes.

I go back to Dante's office and see Anastasia and who I assume is her father, sitting in front of Dante. I walk around the desk and sit back down on Dante's lap. "Is this the girl that shot my daughter?!" Anastasia's father raises his voice. "Yeah I am, do you have an issue?" I say.

"Yes I do, you shot my fucking daughter you whore!" He yells. "That's enough yelling Alessio" Dante says. "She shot my daughter Dante!" Alessio yells again. "I said enough yelling. If you don't stop I will kick you out" Dante says, staying calm.

"Dante are you seriously defending her" Alessio says, finally not yelling. "She's my girlfriend and your daughter kissed me out of no where. Your daughter tried to convince my girlfriend that I don't actually love her and called her a whore multiple times. My girlfriend did what she had to do" Dante explains. "Anastasia I did not raise you to be like this!" Alessio yells at Anastasia.

"No yelling" Dante states again. "I'm am very sorry for yelling at you ma'am. I really hope you can forgive me" Alessio says, looking at me. "Yeah yeah I guess I can forgive you" I say, annoyed. "I apologise for her sass, Alessio. We were planning on going out to eat but you asked for this last minute meeting" Dante says, making me turn to him and glare at him.

"I am not being sassy" I say. "Yeah yeah of course your not" Dante says, mocking my tone. "I'm very sorry about all this. We are going to get going now" Alessio says, grabbing Anastasia's arm. He walks out with her. "Can we go eat now?" I ask Dante. "Of course, just let me get changed" he says. I get off his lap and he gets up. He goes to his room and I go downstairs to wait for him.
