to all the excitement (or sadness) that arouses when the first day of school arrives,
to all the kids eagerly collecting their new back-to-school stationary,
to all the brilliant toppers for whom summer vacation was not all that different from school,
to the lazy ones who groan and grumble and feign stomach ache the morning of a school day,
to the sports enthusiasts who eagerly join sports clubs and bunk classes in the name of 'practice',
to the class monitors who have given up,
to the exams that only wear us down (but somehow induce interest in blank walls which were never given any importance before),
to the teachers who are sometimes our worst nemesis and sometimes our best allies,
to the principals and chairmans who love to give us a 3 hour long speech in a 5 hour event,
to the campuses which were our safe abode to grow and learn,
to all the other little things about the 12 years of our lives in school and
to all the friends made along the way,
here's an ode to you.
