CHAPTER 6

Next day morning

It was 10 in the morning and sun rays were directly hitting on face making her eyebrows frowned... after 20min she finally decided to get down from her bed and did her morning routine

She took her phone which was on bed side table and went to kitchen to make herself a cup of coffee
She poured milk into an utensil and kept it on low burning flame and sat on the kitchen counter

The moment she open her phone the 1st thing she noticed was 2 missed calls from an unknown number and after thinking for a while she remembered that she asked shubman to call her once he reached home and immediately called him back

Shubman: good morning eda

Eda : morning....I'm so sorry I couldn't attend your call last night even I was the one who asked you to call me once you reach home.....the moment I lay on bed I slept

Shubman : yesterday was a long day....it get it thats why it didn't call you again I knew you would have slept

Eda : did you have a proper sleep?

Shubman : yeah I did

Eda : so what's plan....you said you were in your resting period

Shubham : well day after tomorrow I'm going to my home town....so I'll be spending time with my family....what about you??

Eda : as I said I'm studying architecture....I still have some course and projects to complete so I'll be focusing on that .... afterwards if I get some free time I'm thinking of traveling a bit

Shubman: seems like you have prepared a time table for your self?

Eda : it my holiday schedule....it's always been same

Shubman: you like travelling?

Eda : I love traveling

Shubman: do you travel alone or with a partner

Eda : I travel alone ....no partners

Shubman : are you free tomorrow??

Eda : yeah ... why?

Shubman : lets go for lunch....

Eda : lunch....huh

She said in an teasing tone

Shubman: its just I wanna thank you properly

Eda : okay text me the time and lo.....shit shit shit

Shubman : what happen

Eda : I was boiling milk for coffee...I was so immersed in talking to you that I forgot I had kept milk to boil
......text me location....okay byee

Next day shubman texted the address to eda

In the restaurant

He was constantly staring at the door  and watching people coming inside.....for some reasons he was feeling a little nervous.....it was new to him..not eating with a female at restaurant...the feeling he was having was new....and then door open and he saw eda coming into the restaurant

She wave her hand and smile towards him ... seeing her walking towards with a smile somehow made him feel at ease .... every thing around him started to fade and the only thing he could see was HER

Eda : hi shubham....nice choice

She said sitting on the chair

Shubman: it's my favourite place in Mumbai

Eda : wow shubman you look so good

Shubham : seems like my efforts in styling paid off

Eda : it really did....I should have put more effort in getting ready.....you clearly dominated me man

Shubman : no eda....you look beautiful...no matter what you ware it might be Jersey or this summer dress....you look breathtaking

his words made eda heart beat so fast and she unknowingly kept staring at him and it was not like he was complaining

Shubman voice brought eda into this world

Eda : let's order something

Shubman called the waiter and they both gave their older

Their dinner was filled with fun talks gossips and their past stories
Eda was not someone who talk with people so easily she was an ambivert....but talking with shubman was easy and the reason was the way he was treating her ....each and everytime he made sure that she was comfortable

Their dinner was over and Shubman dropped eda at her home

Eda : so that's it.... here comes my home...it was an amazing time with you shubman

Shubman : it was refreshing to be with you eda

Eda gave him smile which made his heart feel warm but that warm feeling didn't last long was she started to go into her appartment....he was her figure fading slowly....he got into his car and close his eyes and look a deep breath and said ' she is going to be my death someday '

His self talk ended with a knock on his car window and it was eda asking him to lower his car window

Eda :  you are going to your home town tommorow right??

Shubman : yeah

Eda : have a safe journey

Saying this she started to take steps  backwards slowly  ' it was great time with you ...I'm looking forward for more such evenings '

I took shubman some time to understand the situation...she was effecting him so much....she was practically rulling his mind
