CHAPTER 7

It's been 2 month's and the resting period was over it was time for unisex cricket series the whole cricket fans were excited for this series

In these 2 month's eda and Shubman relation grew a little deeper every day they both used to talk to eachother on phone ....eda was traveling in Italy she kept sending him pictures of beautiful locations and Shubman was also sending pictures of homemade food prepared by his mom....eda was not really a talkative person on phone and same was with shubman....they both knew that there was some driving force between them which was drawing them towards eachother

The BCCI announced the players list

The playing 11 would be announced on the day of the match
The first match was Indian v/s Australia
Winning this match was matter of prestige for the Indians
The match was held at Gaba stadium in Australia
There were 6 days for the 1st match
The men's team has already reached the hotel and the female team was ready for the departure

At airport

Harleen: Samyukta where is eda isn't she joining us?

Samyukta: she will directly join from Italy

Manager : girls it's time for departure...let's go

They all got into the flight and after few hour's they reached the destination

There was bus outside the airport which took them to the hotel

They all got into their respected rooms and the time slowly passed and it was time for team dinner and everyone came down to lobby

Samyukta got msg from eda saying that she has arrived there ...so Samyukta was waiting for eda at reception

Shubman POV

it was time for team dinner and I was excited to meet eda after 2 month's....to be frank I missed her a lot even though we talked with eachother regularly...I missed her presence
I saw Samyukta eda's friend at reception it's like she was waiting for someone...I walked towards her and asked

Shubman : Samyukta....hi

Samyukta : hi shubman...how are you?

Shubman : I'm fine... aren't you joining for team dinner?

Samyukta : I'm waiting for eda she has reached the airport

Shubman: seems like she is directly joining from Italy

Samyukta: yeah ... wait.. how do you know that she went to italy

Shubman : well....
Shubman was lost of word's he was stuck between choosing from telling truth or lying

Ishan : we just happen to see her insta posts while scrolling insta
Ishan said pating shubman shoulder and Shubman gave an innocent smile

And there was a car stoping infront of hotel and Eda got out of the car and entered the hotel

Samyukta came and gave eda an warm hug " I missed you eda" eda patted Samyukta back "I missed you too samu"
Eda spoke with receptionist and got her room keys and asked to send her luggage into the room
As she begin to walk forward with Samyukta she found shubman standing infront a sudden warmness filled her heart and an smile appear on her lips

Eda : hi shubman

Shubman : hi eda.....how was you flight?

Eda : it was a long flight

Shubman : will you join the team dinner?

Eda : yeah give me 30 min I'll join you guys

Her pov

I went into my room and got fresh and wore  baby pink shirt and white High waist pant  made made my hair into a bun

I open the room door and found shubman leaning on the wall with his right shoulder and waiting for me and suddenly without any my control a word came out of me

" Shubman"
