I wanted to rewrite and upgrade Promised, because it's been a while since I first posted this story and some parts, grammatically or story wise, make me cringe a bit. It's only natural when you look back on old stories, but a little polishing can't hurt.
So I've been working on the first few chapters for the past week and will be updating them today (March 2nd 2024). Whenever I've finished updating a chapter, I will put a little star ★ next to the chapter title, so you know which ones have been reworked already.
Most changes will be made in the first 5 chapters or so - they needed the most work. I've added stuff for re-readers too: More descriptions, extra dialogue, a bit more foreshadowing, (finally) a ring, and so on.
The later chapters will only be changed minimally I suppose. I'm quite happy with how they are, but who knows, maybe I'll throw in a bonus chapter when the mood fits.
Old comments disappear whenever I change a paragraph inside an existing chapter, so I'd appreciate it if you could spam them like you did in the past lol. Also: New opportunities to give pet names to the dividers, as I'll be renewing them as well.
