Y/n's POV :

Soon we will be leaving this island so I try to meet Ace as much as possible

I don't really go to Makino's bar for some Jealousy issues which I hate to accept

Shanks says there is also a kid he likes there

I should meet with him soon too

I went to the forest near Ace's playground however he wasn't there

I sat there waiting for him

... I feel sleepy

Ace's POV :

I ran as fast as I could

One day I was late and she juat went back without meeting me

... Damn you Ace

The flowers in my hand were a gift for her

This were daisys because she once told me she loved daisys

It was only available at the top of a cliff so I had to go there to bring them

I hope she waits for me

... I ran and ran and soon I saw her figure from the distance

..... There she was, however she was sleeping

I hid the flowers in some bush and went to wake her up... However.... She even looks pretty when she sleeps like this

I went a but closer, she smells nice

... My blush isn't going away, I am too shyyyy

How will I give the flowers to her if I am just shy to sit neat her

I went and put my head on her shoulder

.... Maybe I should also take a nap while I wait for her

Y/n's POV :

I woke up and looked around, the sun will go down soon

I looked at my side just to find Ace sleeping besides me

I pat his head and made him lay in the green grass

"Bye bye Ace" I said as I began standing up

He will definitely be sad if he gets to know that I am leaving soon

I should just leave like this

"We will meet again" I muttered in a sad tone, looking down at his sleeping figure

I began to walk away however he grabbed my hand

"Y/n....?" He asked

"Oh You are awake" I said half panicking

"What did you mean Y/n?" He asked

Ack did he heard me?

"Wh- where?" I said, I can't lie well

"What did you mean by saying we will meet again?" He asked, this time I couldn't see his face and he was looking down at the ground

"Are you..... Leaving Y/n?" He asked

I looked down and nodded yes

"... Why?"

"I have to... I am a pirate from the grandline"

"Y- you are?" He asked

"Yes ahah sorry for hiding it all this days, I just thought you may get scared of me" I replied

"I- I won't" He shook his head hard

"Thank you Ace"

"You are a good kid"

We spend the hours walking though the jungle and finally we sat in front of the ocean

"The sun is going down"

"Yeah"

"Are you leaving tomorrow?"

"Yeah"

"Y/n...how long have you been a pirate?" He asked

"Hmmm... I was adopted by a pirate, so since I was a kid!"

"Oh? Why?"

"My parents sold me off to some people"

"WHAT????"

"Aha yeah"

"I am gonna kill those bastards!!" He said, angry

"Ahahahahaahah sorry... Ahaaha you just look so cute right now" I laughed

"Were you happy staying with the pirates who adopted you?" He asked as I thought about Captain

..... "I was the happiest"

At least I still have my Shanks

"Y/n...will you be coming back?"

"I don't know kid... We don't usually leave the grandline"

His expression saddened

"However if I do, I will be sure to find you!" I exclaimed making him blush a bit

Maybe he is embarrassed

Ace isn't the one to show his soft side easily

"Y/n"

"Hm?"

"If... Just if... The pirate king had a child, what will you think of him?" He asked

I just stared at him for a bit

"AHAHAH IF HE HAD A CHILD?" I asked

"That was such a random question Ace!!'" I said

"Answer!!!" He shouted

"Hmm... There are people filled in the grandline who will hold him the dearest, Roger's friends I mean" I said

"Th- they will?" This was a first for Ace, everyone always looked at his negative sides like the navy killing him or hunting for him or how much hatred he would had gotten

... However Y/n...her answer was about how much love he would had gotten...

"Ahaha the Pirate King was an amazing person! There are plenty of people around the world who will even give up on their own life for him!" I said

"I- I see" Said Ace as he kinda hugged himself

Suddenly he looked up and handed me some flowers

"Huh?? Dasiys?? Have you been hiding them all this times??" I asked shocked

He just nodded yes

"Awee Ace!! Thank you!!" I hugged the precious child

"... I will miss you... Y/n.." He said

My eyes widened as I pulled away from the hug

... "I will also miss you Ace!" I giggled

".... Is there a way for us to meet quicker Y/n?" Asked Ace

..... I thought for a while

"If you ever come out to the sea! Then for sure!" I suggested

"Okay then!" He said as he walked forward towards the ocean in front of us

"I AM GONNA BECOME A GREAT PIRATE SO THAT I CAN FIND AND MEET YOU AT SEA, Y/N!"

As the sun went down, I saw Ace's eyes sparkling, meaning he really means it

I grinned big

"I will be waiting!"
