The end of us

I've been betrayed by you

It wasn't the first time today

Still, I can't bring myself to leave

And so I have to stay

I can't trust you anymore

Could I ever?

I deleted your numer

I burnt your letter

I'd die for you

Right on the spot

You did enough to prove

That you would not

I'd take a bullet for you

I'd die

But to save my life

You wouldn't even lie

I'm the machine that keeps you alive

But you stopped my heart from beating

You left me all alone

And in the dark, I was bleeding

There was no one to see me

No one with a first aid kit

So all alone and bleeding out

There I had to sit

I always thought you were someone

Who I can trust

It's friday, the end of the week

It's a not so simple no, the end of us.
