Hassan walked with his hands in his jeans, heading down the girls dorm back to his dorm, he had just left from getting his lanyard from a close home girl's dorm: It was one in the morning and the day school officially started. Lights out was 11:30, but he sneaked off to smoke his last blunt and get his lanyardThere was 24/7 security on campus, so he had to go around the whole school, cutting corners as well to not get caught
He one, smelled like weed, two, was high, and three, wasn't supposed to be out in general
About to go open the door to the stairwell, he heard sniffling and light coughs
Instead of ignoring and continuing to walk past like he usually would, he looked under the staircase and seen a lighter toned brown skin girl that was dressed in shorts and a Polo sweatshirt with a Gucci scarf over her hair
He couldn't really see her, there was only so much light from the light poles
"Damn, what the fuck wrong wit' you, jitt?" He approached her with his Floridian accent coming out
His voice caught her attention, causing her to quickly wipe her eyes and try to act as if everything was okay
"Nothing, and you not really supposed to be out here anyway."
"You ain't either, plus you hiding under a staircase. You straight?" He asked again, standing hovering over her since she was sitting on the concrete with her knees up
"You homesick?" He asked, looking down at her
Hassan didn't even know why he didn't just keep walking, but he was high and wouldn't be able to go to sleep
"I guess." She shrugged
"I just- I just don't wanna be here." She confessed to him
Willow had no one to talk to, and she didn't know Hassan for him to run with what she told him
"Nobody wanna be here they first time at a boarding school, it don't feel good." He said based off him and the few friends he did have experiences
From never seeing her before, he assumed it was her first year there
"Okay, I don't care about everybody else... fuck them." She rolled her eyes with a nasty mug on her face from him saying that
"Bruh, I don't give a fuck and Ion know how to pep talk nobody, especially not you." He mugged her back, dusting off the back of his jeans
"After yo' first week here you ain't go'n be feeling like that no more. You hungry or something?" He asked
"Ew, you saved that dinner?" She questioned him with a disgusted look on her face
Hassan chose not to reply because he thought it was a dumb assumption, instead he took his phone out his pocket
Due to the fact he smoked, his stomach was on a thousand. He always got the munchies after smoking, regardless of if he ate before
