"What they serving for lunch and dinner?" Willow asked Adrianna while putting lotion on her legs
It was eleven on a Saturday and they had just got their electronics back. "Check on CCA Students." Adrianna shrugged her shoulders, trying to text on her phone
"Okay."
Willow stood up from her bed, grabbing her phone and key card before making way out of the dorm
An hour after lunch Willow had a hair appointment, she hated not having her hair done
Students were allowed off campus only on Saturdays and Sundays, but they still had to meet curfew
While going on her phone, she went to see what they were serving for lunch and dinner
It listed Philly cheesesteaks, fries, an optional salad, and then a regular cuban sandwich for those who didn't eat Philly cheesesteaks
For dinner they had baked Ziti, cabbage, and garlic bread listed on the menu
She just knew she was about to swallow every bit. She went on the elevator, going down to the first floor
She was planning to go to the canteen to get some ice cream. It was a short walk, so she made ait in quickly
There were three stores, one was for snacks, another was for electronics that weren't prohibited, then stuff like school supplies
The girl hadn't had ice cream in a week and was starting to hear out her left eye
Her mom began calling her as she searched for the ice cream she wanted, she decided to answer and put the phone to her ear
"Hey, baby. How you holding up, I miss you so much." Sabina said, sounding relieved
"Ma, I'm doing fine." She sighed with an eye roll
"Please tell me you've made some friends."
"You hoping that I'm doing well to make yourself feel better?" She asked, completely throwing her mother off
"Listen here, you know good and damn well you wouldn't have lasted a SECOND in jail and this is all temporary. Jail will go on your record for your life, I want you to remember that. So when you decide to disrespect your mother, remember that you made your bed and you have to lay in it. Get real comfortable too."
The words cut deep, making her realize she was being disrespectful and jail wouldn't have been the best option for her
"Ma, I'm sorry." She immediately apologized
"Now, do you have any friends?" Sabina clear her throat, fixing herself in the bed she laid in
"Just two, San and Adrianna. I also became cordial with this boy and girl that sit at my group in first period." She said, referring to Sahana and Dexter
