"Hassan, I have your dad on the phone." Mrs. Ofori invited Hassan into her office
Hassan placed his pencil in his pocket, then took the phone from her
"I'll step out while you guys talk."
"Wassup, son." His father spoke to him
"Wassup, Chris."
"What's going on?"
"Nun, Ion really wanna talk." Hassan shrugged, scratching his head from the braids. His scalp was itchy and he forgot to put some oil on it
"Don't wanna talk? To your father? That you ain't talk to since the day school started?" Chris was dumbfounded
"What that tell you? It's December, and you ain't banged my line in no type of way... not like I give a fuck though."
"You're about to be how old? You can call me, nigga." Chris scoffed

No "I love you, see you later", no hugs, and no personal goodbye to his own son
