Chapter 16: Halloween

Thursday October 31st 1991
7:30PM

It had been weeks since Henry and Ron's fallout with Hermione and Robin, Henry had tried many times to apologize to Robin, but every time she ignored him, even Hermione refused to talk to him as well as Ron, this made them both feel bad and regret what they said.

Tonight was Halloween Night, and everyone gathered in The Great Hall and were treated with candies, chocolate, cakes and all kinds delicious desserts, The Great Hall was decorated for the holiday, the fires that lit up the hall were purple and there were floating jack o' lanterns all around the hall, while everyone was enjoying they're deserts Harry and Henry looked over the seats next to them and saw that Hermione and Robin weren't there.

Where's Hermione and Robin? asked Harry

Parvati Patil said they wouldn't come out of the girl's bathroom, she said Hermione was in there all afternoon crying said Neville

Harry looked over at Henry and Ron, they both had looks of regret they hadn't even touched their dessert, Henry then got up from his seat

where are you going? asked Ron

I'm going to talk to them said Hermione

Just before Henry could walk away from the table the doors of The Great Hall opened and Professor Quirrell ran inside scared and in a panic, he only yelled one phrase

Troll in the dungeon!, Troll in the dungeon!! yelled Quirrell "though you oughta know"

Quirrell then fainted and fell to the floor and immediately after everyone then started panicking and running out the hall.

Silence!! yelled Dumbledore

Everyone in the hall then stopped as soon they heard Dumbledore's loud booming voice, it's not often anyone heard him yell out loud

Everyone will please not panic, now prefects will lead their house back to their dormitories teachers will follow me to the dungeons said Dumbledore

then every student started following the prefects back to their house common rooms, while Harry, Henry, Ron and Braxton were wondering how a troll could get into Hogwarts

How could a troll get in? wondered Harry

Not on its own troll's are really stupid, probably people playing jokes said Ron

Harry and Henry then realized that Hermione and Robin didn't know about the troll and they were in danger, they pulled Ron and Braxton aside to tell them.

What? said Ron

Hermione and Robin, they don't know! Harry exclaimed

We've got to warn them, come on! said Henry

Harry, Henry, Ron and Braxton then trailed away from the rest of the Gryffindors and headed to save Hermione and Robin, they ran straight to the girl's bathroom and they then saw a large silhouette of the troll approaching.

I think the troll's left the dungeon said Ron

The boys hid behind a pillar and saw a big troll, one as dumb as a doorknob, carrying a big club and it was heading towards the girl's bathroom.

It's going towards the girl's bathroom Harry explained

Ugh! smells likes Fred's socks, only worse said Ron as he caught a whiff of the troll's foul scent

Come on said Henry

In the girl's bathroom Hermione and Robin walked out of the stalls Hermione wiped tears from her eyes as Robin had her arm over her shoulder, both girls looked up to see a giant troll in standing right front of them, they immediately hid in the stalls to hide, but then the troll swung its club and destroyed the bathroom stalls, leaving them buried under a pile of broken wood and covered in dust.
