Charles Leclerc was also born and raised in Monaco.
The two yielded from very different lifestyles, yet somehow, we're the best of friends. They became friends when Adelaide was 5 and Charles 6. And because their families enjoyed it, they did everything together.
Throughout the years, Charles took up karting, which eventually (and inevitably) turned into Formula 1. He had a natural talent. Adelaide couldn't be prouder of her best friend, sticking by his side throughout his journey into stardom.
Adelaide had her own natural talent, reporting. She was a natural at talking to people, getting all the information everyone was dying to know. So, she went to University for it, got a degree in it. And, when the time came, Charles helped her get a job with F1, so they could work alongside each other.
As time went on, Adelaide became friends with the other drivers, and more than friends with one of them - all because Charles helped her land the job. Lando Norris had caught the girl's eyes the moment she met him, but she'd prevented herself from thinking anything more of him - she'd just gotten out of a not-so-great relationship. But, things happened, and about half a year into her new line of work, she started dating the young Mclaren driver.
Things were great for Adelaide. She had a loving boyfriend and her best friend of nearly 20 years by her side at all times. There was nothing else she could ask for.
And then life happened.
Her relationship crumbled and it felt like the world might not go on, but then there was Charles. He was by her side the entire time, helping her back on her feet.
The entire time, Adelaide had thought he was being helpful because he was her friend, not realizing that she could see him as anything more, until she did. Slowly, but surely, Charles Leclerc changed positions in her heart. From best friend, to lover...
