Sometimes
Sometimes someone's words affect us, That the chirpy bird becomes silent, overthinking, "Am I really that bad?"
Sometimes you don't know pain, Until you're staring at yourself in tears, begging yourself,"Hold on and be strong"
Sometimes you know it all, Still hurting yourself for others, crying "I am selfish for hurting them."
Sometimes your insecurity hits you hard, Even then you try to understand them, thinking, "Was that really a joke ? "
But for those sometimes, learn to love yourself, learn to care for yourself Because no one else did And no one will.

This is dedicated to all the people who aren't able to move on from the insecurity they face. The people around them make fun of it but it hits you hard. No dearies, you're not overthinking, they do it intentionally to hurt you.
