The morning light was shining through the blinds blinding me as I woke up as I rolled over I felt emptiness but there was still some warmth on the spot he left. I was still groggy since I woke up when I looked to my right I see a napkin confused to what it said I grabbed it and read

"I'm sorry darling I had to leave but I left some eggs and bacon on the table for you I will not be coming home early today the other sheriff invited me to the bar tonight, but once again darling thank you for understanding yesterday..."

But after a few minutes of sulking, I walked out with my head held high, when I finally made it to the market it was crowded and busy but as soon as people saw me,they gave me smiles and greeted me,kids were asking if I could play with them or men were asking me if I needed help by kindly rejected.

But so many people were asking me "your so lucky" or "look at you your so young"but the most heard comments were "how do you have the iron heart wrapped around your finger huh?"

I kindly explained to them I didn't do anything but most people didn't believe me or were just shocked one girl asked bluntly

"is it because you slept with him?" I was shocked but composed myself "I will it's not really good place to be talking about stuff like that...."

As everybody was surrounding me well most it was mostly the old women and the younger omega who were asking "oh how are you so pretty?" Or "how do you keep your skin so clean" and "oh you're so beautiful"

so many of the girls were asking me how Johnny was...you know like in bed but most of them were gossip about this one girl name ruby and how her husbands treated her horrible but how that guy I met in the bar was her husband.

That wasn't the only thing he forced her to have kids at 18 and in are county that is not allowed.

"Isn't that not allowed?" I said confused "will yes it is not allowed but since he paid her parents to keep quiet he got away with it..." she said sadly "she is only 19 now." I got a little aggravated at the injustice to her "well has anybody done anything yet." I said slightly hopeful she'll say something but all of the girls in the group got quiet except one Jamie

"well" she started "Johnny has gotten a lot of evidence against him but since her parents haven't come forward he can do much but for the past two years that Ruby has been in the relationship they never once came out not even to say something that's the thing but don't worry he's been trying..."

I was shocked but glad that Johny tried to do something. Remembering back to the bar the anger look on his face the shooting inches away from him I finally got it, Anthony was trying to get on Johnny's nerves knowing that if he did something to me it will ruin Johnny

I slightly got scared knowing I was inches away from becoming like Ruby because in the county if another man "spoiled" a "unmarried omega" it means that that person is forced into marriage what it's an unnecessary law that was passed to not let omega have  enough freedom
