I'm wasting my time looking at the night sky
Thinking someone out there is watching back
Maybe from the moon or a UFO flying by
Because we're almost done with the Doomsday Clock
It's just a moment replacing the previous one
How many rocks were destroyed by the sun
Now everyone's celebrating like they've won
Not thinking everything's the creation of one
The song's effects are winding down
And light is coming back in this town
I don't know who's in control of that clock
But when all this ends, I know I won't be shocked
