Author's Note

So that's the end of the story! I know it had a pretty depressing end, but I think I just wanted to show how cruel the Games are, and I don't think I could live it down if I killed Katniss and Peeta. Also, I think if I did keep Cato and Penny alive, and killed off Katniss and Peeta, it would have turned into one of those stories where it's basically just exactly the same plot as Catching Fire, only just changing Katniss and Peeta's names to your own characters.
