Chapter 29

Chapter Twenty Nine - Fly Away With Me

*Eliza*
"Hey, Jams." I say, flipping the door open.
"Hey, Ellie-bug!" He exclaims.
I laugh and shake my head at the nickname.
"So, where you wanna hang today?" He asks.
"Walk with me." I say, clasping his hand in mine and pulling him down the porch.
"But... I don't like walking." He pouts.
"Whatever dork." I say, clearly knowing he's joking.
"You're never any fun, you always make my jokes fall flat. It makes me look like an idiot. Why do you do that to me Ellie-bug?" He huffs.
"Because you're jokes don't effect me and fall flat on there own, Jamsy Dear." I chuckle.
"So rude." He mutters.
I lightly slap his arm.
He gives me a pained look.
"What was that for?" He pouts.
"For being a dork, now come on walk a little faster." I say, pulling him to move along faster.
"Urgent much." He mutters.
I shake my head a huge smile on my face.

A few minutes later we have arrived at the beautiful lake park I found a couple days ago.
I had set up a cute little picnic a few minutes before Jaime was stopping by.
"You did this." He exclaims.
"Of course not." I snort.
"It magically appeared." I say giving him a mischievous look.
He lightly pushes me.
"Of course I did, Jamsy." I say.
"Whatever." He smirks, sitting down on the blanket.

"Hey now don't be a dick or I'll leave." I retort.
"Why would you ever leave my beautiful presence." He says.
I snort. Pushing play on the little radio I had set up.
Lost Boy by Ruth B. starts playing.
"I love this song." He states.
I laugh.
"Of course you do." I joke.
"What's that suppose to mean?" He mocks hurt.
"You're a dork, so I figured." I say, trying to hold in my giggles.
"Says the one that has it playing." He says, looking at the lake.
The sun slowly setting.
"Now I'm hurt." I say, clutching my chest.
He snorts and I burst into giggles.

A few minutes later and the sun has set and Jaime and I are laying back, staring to the sky. All conversation has stopped.

"Ellie-bug?" He asks out of nowhere.
"Yeah?" I whisper.
"Fly away will you fly away with me?" He asks.
"What do you mean?" I ask, confusion written across my face.
"Fly away with me, i got tickets to Italy and I want you to go with me." He says.

"Jaime, I uh.." I begin, at a loss for words.
How do I tell him.
"I need to be away, and I want you with me, you make me happy and I want you by my side when I see Italy." He says, eyes focused at the sky.

"Jaime...." I start again, Heart breaks when he faces me.
"I'd love too." I say.
A smile spreads across his face.
"Thank you, thank you, Ellie-bug." He says pulling me into a hug.

"Welcome, Jams." I mutter.

Falling apart all over again.
I guess I'm going to Italy.

"Hey, Li." Tabby's voice speaks through the phone.
"I messed up, Tabs, I've messed up." I say, tears still falling.
"What do you mean, Li?" She asks, slight worry in her tone.
"Well, let's just say I'm going to Italy.... With Jaime." I say, the end a mutter.
"What!?!" She exclaims.
"Li, you were suppose to tell him." She sighs.
"I know and I was going to but you should have seen his face he....he." I drift off.
"This is gonna be harder then what I thought." She says.
"I'll tell him, I promise." I say.
"Are you crying, Li?" She asks.
I sniffle.
"Li, what's wrong, why are you crying?" She asks.
"I miss Joe." I say.
"Eliza" she sighs.
"And being with Jaime it makes me miss him more." I say, suddenly frantic.
"I know. Li. Talk to him. Joe I mean. It'll hurt but talk to him. Jaime too. Even if it's Italy." She says.
"Okay, how's the guy?" I ask.
"Great, I'm at his place now. I moved out, mom wasn't to happy actually got in a huge fight. But whatever, I'm happy now." She says.
"I'm glad you're happy, Tabs." I say.
"Maybe you can meet him one day, soon." She says.
"I'd like that." I say.
"I know it's late there, Li, I'll talk you tomorrow." She says.
"Okay, bye Tabs." I say.
"No more crying. Talk to them. Good night. Love you bug." She says.
I laugh at the nickname.
"Love you too." I say.
The phone silent after.
Clearly indicating that the conversations over.

Short but hey I'm doing my best.
So Eliza's going to Italy, with Jaime.
How do think it's going to play out?
Is she going to tell him? Before or after?
Is she going to talk to Joe?
