Dear reader,

If you've read my other completed works you'll know I've sort of made it a habit to do this. I don't know, I don't like writing A/N's and I feel I have to socialize with you guys somehow...

Anyway, this letter is a little different from the rest. I tagged this book 'FreetheLGBT' for a reason. If you've noticed, throughout the story none of my characters have ever been called out or looked at differently because of their sexual orientation. Them being gay was just one simple fact that was insignificant to their lives, their characters and in general this story. I wrote a story about two men falling in love and a man learning to fully accept himself along the way. Their sexuality did not serve as a conflict in this story. They had no reason to be afraid of being themselves.

I want things to be the same in the world we live in eventually. I want the fact that someone is in any way part of the LGBT+ community to be as insignificant as a person being either left or right handed. I want it to reach a stage where LGBT+ authors won't have to write about stigma, breaking stereotypes, sexuality/religious conflict, homophobia, transphobia, representation and coming out.

My dream is a little far of in many parts of the world. In my country being a homosexual can earn you 14 years in prison and a death sentence in the Muslim north. But you still have to have hope right?

Whether if it's in the next three years or in the next three centuries I hope that one day members of the LGBT+ community will finally be completely free of the stigma and stereotypes they face in the world of today.

So, I'm here to present these characters, this story world, and this book as my contribution to the FreeTheLGBT project.

I'm grateful to everyone who has read this far. I'm grateful to everyone who has added me to their libraries (some of the libraries make me blush. Alexander isn't your typical nerd, he'll say what he wants, do what he wants, and verbally bash you while doing it.

That's what Travis, a jock assigned to be tutored by Alexander, hates most about him. Confusing feelings, a drunken party, and a month of tutoring was all it took to get Travis to realize he was head over heels for the sharp-tongued Alex.

Now, if only he knew where Alex's sarcasm switch was.
