i visited you everyday, pleading for you to rouse from your unconscious state.
you did the day i left your side.
after that i remember walking into the hospital to find your mother signing a form hurriedly, before pushing it back to the man in a white coat before crying into her husbands chest.
she reminded me of you then, strong but still breakable.
but with that one hurried piece of writing i knew i wouldn't see you again.
now here i am.
writing to you, wishing i'd escaped.
