"Earth to Jungkook!" Jungkook jumped a bit at the sudden voice followed by the hit on his shoulder, looking at the person next to him with surprised eyes. "Have you listened to me?" Hoseok asked, sounding slightly disappointed in his voice. "S-sorry hyung, I'm just-" "You're distracted? I know," Hoseok interrupted, smiling understandingly. Jungkook nodded, looking down at his feet instead. He had barely been able to sleep last night, he was so worried about everything going on. Jimin was the main thing running around in his head, Jungkook felt lost, and maybe even exhausted. "I'm sure he's okay, Jungkook," Jungkook looked up again as his older friend said that, he had usually believed it easily, whenever anyone said that, but this time, it didn't feel true at all. He just shook his head in response. "I don't think so, Hoseok," he then said, barely above a whisper.

"Why-" Hoseok couldn't finish his sentence, the bell rang loudly, letting everyone know that this day was finished. "Jungkook, you know what?" Hoseok said as he stood up, packing his books, Jungkook doing the same. "What?" "Let's go to that cafe where that boy you're always texting works, he seems to make you happy-" "Wait, how the fuck do you know I'm texting him?" Jungkook raised an eyebrow at his older friend who just shrugged. "I have my sources."

"Or maybe, you've just used your eyes to look at my phone," Jungkook said, grabbing his notebook and putting it in his backpack before zipping it. "Either way, let's go," Hoseok grabbed Jungkook's arm, just like that other time and dragged him out of the classroom and down the hall, towards the exit. "You don't have to drag me out like this, I can walk by myself," Jungkook said, trying to get out of Hoseok's grip, only sighing in defeat when the older tightened his grip. "I know I don't have to, but I want to get there quickly so you can be happier as soon as possible!"

It was only Thursday, yet it was more stressful than ever. Taehyung was close to breaking down and barely half of the day had passed by. It was actually his lunch time, or well it had passed by too, but just like that other day, he didn't have the time to eat lunch. And he was a bit too nice, he told his co-workers they could eat lunch because he'll be fine, he took their place even though that he deep down knew that he would regret this at the end of the day, after his shift had finished.

He had just made two lattes and placed them on the counter, his co-worker Jinyoung giving them to the customers. Taehyung thought he could have a short break just as the bell let out that way too recognisable sound, letting everyone know some more people entered the busy cafe. A sigh left his lips as he turned around, placing a fake smile on his lips as an attempt to look as welcoming as possible, only for it to be replaced by a real smile when he saw who the customers were.

"Oh, hello Jungkook," he greeted, since they could be called friends now, more or less. Jungkook smiled back and Taehyung then smiled at the younger's friend. "What would you like today?" He then asked while resting his hands on the counter. He took in Jungkook's features, realising how cute the boy looked in the glasses he was wearing today. "I'll get the same as always," Jungkook said, about to continue his sentence when Taehyung filled in. "An ice latte, I suppose?" He smirked and the younger blushed, the fact that Taehyung remembered that made him happy. "And you?" Taehyung then asked Jungkook's friend he didn't know the name of.

"I'll take the same," Taehyung nodded and wrote the orders down quickly. "Are you paying individually or-" "I'm paying," the other said and before Jungkook could stop him, he handed Taehyung the money and then walked away. "I'll get us a table, take the change for me," the boy said before walking away, Jungkook didn't respond. He looked at the boy in front of him, such beauty. The fact that they also had become a bit closer made Jungkook very happy. "So," Taehyung then said while typing a bit on the cash register before it opened, he put the money where it was supposed to be. "How are you today, Jungkook?" He counted the money before giving it to Jungkook while asking. "I don't know, I've been better," Jungkook sighed as he took the money, not noticing the small note Taehyung had managed to write and put inside the very small pile of money. "What about you?"

The older just shrugged in response. "It's been really stressful here, I haven't been able to eat my lunch yet," he said, a yawn leaving his lips right after. "Really? You don't think you could take a break now then? It seems a bit calmer-" Jungkook was interrupted when the doorbell let out that annoying sound again, Taehyung was so tired of it by now. A group of boys entered, and Jungkook could see the defeat on Taehyung's face. "I guess I need to continue working, I'll call your name when the drinks are finished, since I didn't get the other guy's name," Taehyung said before focusing on the new group of people in front of him, and Jungkook couldn't help but notice how forced the smile was.

He then walked over the where Hoseok was sitting, placing the money on the table as he sat down on the comfortable chair. The older grabbed it before noticing the little note, glancing up at Jungkook after reading it, and then placed it in front of the younger. "I guess this was for you," he said, as he put the money in his wallet.

Jungkook, with a confused look on his face, grabbed the small piece of paper and read it.

i finally managed to write a chapter! i'm sorry it took a while, i haven't had the time.

we got the new record for most viewed video in 24h for 'not today'!!!! yay!!
