and the truth is

i am not a very expressive person

or a person who is willing to tell you everything on my mind

and it is not because i don't care about you

or trust you enough to share my innermost thoughts

it's just that i am not very brave

and emotions are not something i'm good at

so please don't feel bad

when i don't say "i love you" out loud

just know that i do when it is 4 am

and i call you

because your voice is the only one i want to hear

when i'm feeling down

or when i reach over to take your hand

for absolutely no reason at all
