Every single Primarina, Popplio and Brionne are way to excited for a war.

Woo, murder!!

If anyone is going to get murdered, it's us.

Sure, Maui's tribe is no Violet level of fighting, but neither are they WaveClan levels of fighting.

There's a reason as to why they're called Warriors.

If you want to get to Tidal Wave, you have to get through his Warriors first.

Even if you manage to do that you have to hope that he doesn't get bored and decide to flood the place.

Well, actually, I guess it doesn't matter to a bunch of water types; but it matters to me.

I can't swim!
And neither can Kapua.
Why are we letting Kapua come with us anyways?

I asked Isabelle and she said, 'So, we can use him as bait'.

What!?

But then, she laughed it off and told me she was kidding.

She needs to stop playing with my emotions especially now.

Nobody seems worried.
At. All.

Maui is cheerfully leading his Tribe through Lush Jungle while everybody else makes small talk.

The only ones taking anything seriously is Isa and some Popplio named Ariel.

Isabelle said that the reason everyone is so cheerful is because of the Prophecy.

She's going to be the one to kill Tidal Wave.

We're basically guaranteed victory.

She said she didn't believe that.
She says a jumble of words can't set the outcomes of things in stone.

It's your actions that give you success or failure.
And that's why Opal isn't here anymore.

I think Opal was just stupid.
You don't threaten to kill someone's child unless you want to die.

I guess she got her wish in the end.

Maybe I'll finally get mine.

Or maybe, I'll die...and I'll get to see her again.

"Maple says you've got a death wish." Isa mutters.

I look up at her, "Who?"

"Maple. She's one of the voices in my head."

"Y-you can talk to...my mother?"

She nods, "Yeah. She's annoying. You're not missing out on much."

I feel like a bad person for not getting happy over that.
Maybe before Nightshade died and I found out about her flipping child I would've been amazed.
But now, Maple was just the first to go...she doesn't mean as much to me as she used to.

If she can talk to mother then maybe, "Can you-"

"No. I can't talk to Nightshade." She shrugs, "Not like I would want to anyways. I've been treating her kid like shit. She probably hates me."

I stare at the forest as it looms ahead of me, "Why?"

"Hmm?"

"Why do you hate Kapua?"

She smiles, "The same reason you do."

"Well I don't-"

"You do just a bit."

Pfft.
I don't hate Kapua.
He's just...ehhh.
Nevermind.

"Alright, everyone!" Maui announces, climbing onto a rock, "We're about to engage in a brutal battle! We all must sing the battle song!"
