I woke up the next morning as usual and rememberd. Today was the day. Today was the day I would have to live with pain and pure ugliness. Kent walked in with a smiling face with a stretcher and said, "hop on" I jumped onto the stretcher an he wheeled to the OR he put a cap on my head that looked like a shower cap. He put one on too. He ha me change into an operating gown and told me to lay down and to take deep breathes. He told me not I worry myself because that will make the medicine get all crazy.

Another doctor walked into the room. It was a girl. She looked young and sweet. She smiled and said "hi I'm doctor Leyan. Are you ready for your medicine?" I hesitated and said "yes. Im ready." KEnt held my hand tight. Dr. Leyan took my other hand and whipped it down with a wipe. She took out a long needle the size of my hand and whinked at me. I looked at Kent and saw a tear roll down his face. He tried covering his tears with a smile. I did the same. I felt the needle go into my arm and I let out a scream. Kent squeezed my hand even harder. Dr. Leyan kept saying "your okay don't worry!" I couldn't help but cry. I felt the pain hit me. After 5 minutes she pulled it out. I winced in pain. Kent gave me a hug as I cried, and Dr. Leyan rubbed my back. She put a band aid on where she put the needle in. After that gave me a vaccine in my arm but that didn't hurt I was used to it. Kent rolled the stretcher back to my room and I lauded back on my bed and napped like I never mapped before
