it was the next morning, i woke up and went straight to the bathroom sink to freshen up but i couldn't splash water because the cuts hurt bad, my bottom lip and eye was throbbing both covered in bruises

"ouch" i say to myself, that bitch got me good

my phone has been going crazy all night and morning

diego : natalie

diego : have you decided yet?

diego : why aren't you responding?

diego : are you ignoring me?

diego : are you okay?

diego : im sorry

it's driving me crazy that i can't message him back, i want to talk to him but im scared his girlfriend might hit me again

6 hours later...

the sun is setting and i just finished up on eating dinner, my phone received another message

diego : atleast say something so i know you are okay

diego : are you okay?

diego : fuck it, im coming over

in a matter of 5 minutes diego is at my front door knocking like crazy, i went to open it but i didn't, i stood behind the door

"natalie! open up!" diego yells

"go away diego" i yell back

"open this door right now natalie, i need to know if you are okay" he yells barging into the door

"no diego, leave" i yell back

"natalie, i swear to god" at this point he's yelling so loud that im getting scared

i can't open this door, what if she finds out that im with him, i don't know what to do, i walk away from the door with tears running down my face

"FUCK!" he yells as he kicks open the door

"diego what the fuck?" i yelp as he pulls me towards him right up against his body

"who the fuck did this to you" he said as he grabbed my jaw

"i don't know, it was this girl that came up to me telling me to stay away from you" i mumble

"fucking hell" he was tensing up

"she was threatening me to stay away from you that's why i wasn't talking to you and i was just scared" i cry into his chest as he holds me tight

"get changed into something black" he demands

"why?"

"just do it and make sure it's comfortable"
