People make a judgment about me before I even open my mouth. Something I've dealt with ever since I found the gym. People say guys ogle at women, but jeez, no one ever talks about how much girls can ogle. Double standards? Maybe. Middle school? Naaat my good place. I was 15 when things starting taking a turn. At home, there was 4 of us. Mom, dad, me and Joss. Joss is two years older than me and when he got the chance to leave state, boy did he take it. Took it all the way to Aus. Our parents had always been an argumentative couple and I guess that's part of the reason for Joss leaving, but when he left, the arguing intensified. When I got my chance, I knew I needed to also leave state. I needed my own space, I needed somewhere to start new and to be me. The gym and football was all the really truly mattered to me in high school so to get a scholarship for football at California State University, Long Beach it was an opportunity I just couldn't miss.
