Guys! I talked to Sean today! He talked about basketball and then he asked if I was going to go to the next game! He basically was implying that he WANTED me to go! I'M SO EXCITED! So you guys HAVE to come with me!
I wrote during a boring history lesson with Mr. Char. You see, Lilah, Aria, and I had very different schedules. So this was how we communicated during the day.
"Writing in your diary again, Renee?" Drew teased with a smirk.
I scowled at him. "It's none of your damn business, Drew. And for the millionth time, it's not my diary," I said as I rolled my eyes. Men. Or in this case I should say 'boys' since they haven't matured yet and probably won't for another ten years.
I was thankful once the bell rang and rushed out of class. I saw Lilah at the end of the hallway. I smiled once I walked past her and handed her the notebook.
Next class was art. My favorite class of the day. I quickly grabbed my paints and utensils so I could start and get out of everyone's way before the bell rang. Once I turned around I rammed into someone and my paints went all over me.
"Watch it!" I growled as I looked up.
Carter stood before me with a smirk on his face. I had never talked to him before and I didn't plan to. I don't associate myself with man-whores.
"Are you going to move, or not?!" I said angrily.
His smirk turned into a deep, shark-like grin, and he had a mischievous glint in his eyes. I huffed as I shoved him aside and grabbed the bathroom pass.
I headed to my locker, because being an artist, I was always prepared for things like this. I pulled out a Nirvana T-shirt and headed to the bathroom to change. Once I came back into the room I saw him in the back corner leaning back in his chair with his feet propped up on one of the desks.
I inwardly groaned. Why do they require you to take art in order to graduate? It only makes arrogant assholes like him take it and take up other people's space!
I heard an overly dramatic, obnoxious giggle and turned to see Faith sitting on his lap. He was whispering something in her ear while she nodded eagerly. I rolled my eyes with disgust and pulled out my iPod. I plugged my earphones in and blasted my music to drown them out.
I sent them one last glance only to realize that Carter was staring right at me. And he was grinning from ear to ear.
I sent him my best death glare and he had the audacity to finger wave at me!
I angrily turned back to my canvas and tried to lose myself in my art piece.
I was relieved when lunch came. Today had been a long day. Once I saw Lilah a few paces ahead of me I ran to catch up with and looped my arm through hers.
"Hey, Lilah," I greeted and she jumped. I looked at her weird. She was usually not one to scare easily. "Geez, why are you so jumpy?"
Her eyes widened a bit. "I'm not jumpy."
I rose an eyebrow. "Whatever you say," I sing-songed.
"Where's Aria?" she asked as she looked around.
I snorted. "She's over there," I said once I spotted her. "I think Ethan's asking her out," I told her as I sat down.
Once Aria came over and plopped herself down she groaned. "Ugh, can you believe Ethan just asked me out? I didn't even know he liked me that way," she complained as she shrugged off her backpack.
I rolled my eyes as I took out my lunch.
"Aria, he's asked you out twice already," Lilah told her.
