I pulled my leather jacket tighter around me as I stepped off the bus. I sighed as I looked up at the bright, neon letters of Jack's Shack.
I walked inside and looked around. It wasn't a huge bar, but it wasn't too small either. The bar was to the left with booths and card tables scattered around, while pool tables were on the right.
I looked around and found Danny at one of the pool tables. I made me way over towards him and tapped him on the shoulder.
He grinned when he turned around and pulled his cigarette out of his mouth.
"Hey baby," he said as he slung his arm over me.
I scowled in annoyance and moved his arm off of me. "I'm not your 'baby' now what do you want?"
"She's a feisty one, ain't she?" one of the older men around the table said. I frowned.
"That's what I love about her. She can be so stubborn," Danny said as caressed my face.
I took a step back.
"What do you want, Danny?" I asked again. "Don't tell me you had me come all the way out here in the middle of the night for a game of pool with your old perverted friends."
Danny frowned and shook his head at me disapprovingly as the same man from before growled. "You should teach your bitch some manners."
"Apologize Ren," Danny commanded.
I looked over at the angry, drunk man before looking back at Danny.
"I'm leaving," I said as I took a careful step back. "Come near my house and I call the police," I warned.
Danny took a step towards me. "Now that's not nice, Ren. What did I ever do to you?"
"Well for one thing, you made me come out to this godforsaken place!" I said, my voice slowly rising.
"Watch your tone, Renee," Danny said darkly as he took another step towards me. "I just wanted to talk to you."
"So talk," I said as I crossed my arms over my chest.
"I want you back."
"No."
"Come on, Ren, don't be like that baby," he said as he took my face in his hands.
"Don't touch me!" I said as I took another step back.
Danny dropped his hands to his sides and smirked. "Do you really want that, Renee? Because I remember when you used to beg for it," he said as he took another step closer.
I clenched my teeth as my back hit the wall and he took one last step, closing the distance between us.
He placed his lips on mine, which tasted of beer and tobacco.
Why did I come here again? Why did I even fall for him in the first place?
"I know you want me back too, Ren. But I'll let you decide. And until you do, I'll be waiting," he told me quietly, his lips brushing over mine as he spoke.
"I've already made my decision," I said as I pushed him back. "And my answer is no!" I yelled as I made my way towards the exit.
Danny simply chuckled. "I'll be waiting Renee!"

Obviously I didn't get a lot of sleep that night, which put me in a pretty bad mood the next day.
I reached into my backpack so I could rant in the notebook. When I couldn't find it and I frowned and searched my backpack for a full ten minutes before remembering that Reece Matthews had it. I sighed as I took out my headphones and put them in my ears.
