It was Thursday afternoon. I hadn't run into Carter too much lately and I was glad for that. Danny also hadn't tried to contact me either, so all in all my week was going by pretty well. We had made a list of ideas of how to get the notebook back, and I was confident one of them was bound to work.

"Guys, I need your help," Lilah said desperately as she sat down.

"Just look at the list we made," Aria suggested.

"No, you guys don't get it. Logan is throwing a party this weekend and Reece is planning on coming and I think he is going to make me do something," she said nervously.

I perked up. A party. That was my kind of place. Especially if Logan was throwing it. Because if Logan was throwing a party that meant Sean would be there. This must have been the party Sean was talking about earlier for the basketball team.

"Well I can't help you," Aria told her. "You know I'm going to be stuck babysitting this weekend. Besides," she said flashing me a mischievous knowing look. She was thinking the exact same thing I was. Makeover time. "You don't need me anyway."

Lilah turned to me. "Renee, will you help me?"

I smirked. "Sure, I'll help you," I said casually.

She looked at me warily. "Cool, so your parents won't mind?" she asked anyway.

Time to burst her bubble. Sorry Lilah, but you need to get the notebook back and I need some time with Sean. "Oh we won't be at my house, we'll be at yours."

Her eyebrows furrowed. "Um, I think you are missing the point."

"No I'm not. We're going to dress you up, and send you out to flirt with Reece," I told her simply. I never understood why she didn't like parties. She was a dancer after all. And a little alcohol doesn't hurt either.

"What? No! I already told you guys I'm not doing that. Besides, there are tons of girls he can choose from. Even if I tried, which I won't, I doubt he'd be too impressed."

"Well I'm going to make it so that he can't take his eyes off you," I said confidently. Makeup, after all, was a form of art. Just like painting, except on a face instead of a canvas.

She rolled her eyes. "Why don't you dress up for him?"

"Because I will be busy talking to Sean," I said before sticking her tongue out at me.

"Well thank you for nothing," she muttered.

"Quit doubting my skills woman!" I shouted before the bell rang.

She'd thank me later.

It was Friday night. The party had already started. And both Lilah and I looked hot.

It's a fact.

Even though I had to endure much complaining and protesting, I finally got Lilah in a silver, sparkly cocktail dress that had spaghetti straps and was sheer in the middle. It showed off her curves and her stomach for a change and her nice dancer legs.

I told her this, but she didn't exactly believe me.

I on the other hand, had on a simple, black cocktail dress with lacy black sleeves, with black, lace up heals. My eyes were smokey and my curly hair was down and hanging wildly around my face.

As we headed down the stairs I spotted Sean.

Without taking my eyes off of him, I shouted "Have fun, ok? I'll be over there if you need me," I told Lilah before darting off into the crowd.
