"W-who are you? Where did you come from?"

"I believe in your language, my name would translate to Jung Hoseok. I'm a demon. Nice to meet you, Min Yoongi of Daegu, South Korea."

A demon.

A... demon?

The words ruminated throughout Yoongi's mind. That was the part he focused on the most. The words the supposed demon spoke were the most fantastic words the human had ever heard in his entire life and yet he believed them. Even if his logic told him not to believe something so fanciful, he did. How else would the man have gotten in his bathroom apartment of all places? How else would he appear out of seemingly thin air? How else could he be so undeniably gorgeous and ethereal looking? Yoongi didn't think about any of those things though when taking into account the truth of the stranger's words. His mind was too clouded to think clearly. It was why he did what he did next.

Without thinking, Yoongi's feet had brought him closer to the mysterious person as if they had a mind of their own. He couldn't keep his eyes off of those mesmerizing golden orbs. The demon was a striking ethereal beauty, looking much healthier and glowing than Yoongi ever could. His skin was a healthy glow, not too pale or too tanned, and his hair was neatly brushed to the side, not a hair out of place. There wasn't even a single speck of dust or lint on the man's clothes, not a single thread out of place. He was immaculate as could be. Yoongi couldn't believe a creature so ethereal and gorgeous was there in his bathroom at his lowest point. If he were to think clearly, he would have cried, he probably would have screamed and been afraid, shouting at the demon as humans tended to do when they were afraid or didn't understand something. Hoseok rose an eyebrow at Yoongi's reaction, but neither moved nor spoke a word, intrigued by what the human had intended to do. At last Yoongi closed the gap between them, something unstable and desperate in his expression. To Yoongi, this had all appeared as some sign. What were the odds that something like this occurred, and to him of all people, to him who lived a lonely, miserable and wretched life? It was why Yoongi said what he did next.

"I don't believe you," he started, his voice barely above a whisper, "you have to be an angel."

Yoongi was about to reach his hand up to touch what he believed to be an angel's face, afraid this were some dream that would fade. However, the hand never reached the demon, and like that, Yoongi was on the ground unconscious.

Hoseok had to admit he was stunned, to say the least. What kind of human reacted that way to meeting a self-proclaimed demon that popped up out of nowhere? On top of that, to think him an angel of all things. Though he understood where the human was coming from with that sentiment, Hoseok couldn't help but twist his face in distaste at being compared to one of those fluffy, goody-two-shoes. If there was one thing demons could not stand, it was angels or even the mention of those vile, prissy beings. "An angel? What in all hell's realm?" He pushed himself off the sink with ease and settled his feet to the ground soundlessly. "After all I did for you today and now you compare me to those dick fairies? You're a peculiar one," Hoseok said, looking down at the unconscious body of the human. He deduced that the human had fainted due to excessive stress and—Hoseok knelt down to check Yoongi's pulse, noting his skinny body—concluded malnourishment had also played a part.
