I wonder how you lay on that bed;
if you're entangled in those exaggerated silk sheets,
or if the moonlight hue drips blue on your skin.
Either way, ripples of loneliness slither in currents through my body
like water on water.
So until I see you, I'll chew upon my hunger
and drink off my thirst--
that desire to wield you.
