I stood in front of the Carter mansion watching as they parked up to leave although I was meant to be crying my eyeballs out I knew that someday I will see Seth again, Seth has been my best friend for as long as I can remember, we had the same nanny because our parents were close and always busy so my parents always dropped me and my brother with the Carter's nanny, I once had the perfect life any freshman could have, my brother was the soccer team captain, my boyfriend was in sophomore year and my best friend was the over protective Seth Carter but now that I'm in sophomore year all that went down the drain, my brother is now in college, my boyfriend who was using me to get on the soccer team left me heart broken and Seth sister is dead.
Seth walked out of his house and I hid behind a tree to protect me from his view I know big question why am I hiding from my best friend? We....ll let's just say it's a long story you see here's the thing, when Tanya died that is Seth's sister everything changed, Seth became a shadow of himself he shut everyone out including me, he became the cold, expressionless jerk no one wanted to get involved with and even after I tried on many occasions to talk to him he just shut me out
I watched as Seth and his parents went into their separate cars and drove off from the place they called home to go and start a new life where there are no painful memories.
