~Eyeless Jack~

You were getting ready to go to a party that your friend had invited you to. Of course, your friend was a guy. "It's a date (Y/N) and I don't think you should go." Jack kept saying. "Jack, it's not a date. He just invited me to the party. Besides, (Friend's name) will be there and she won't let me date him." "Ya keep telling yourself that." Jack mumbled. You sighed and finished doing your hair. "Jack I need to get dressed." You told him. He looked at you and kept sitting on the bed. "Jack, that means get out so I can get dressed." You told him. He kept sitting there. "Jack, please get out of my room." You asked him politely. Still...Nothing. "Jack, why aren't you leaving?" You asked him. "Because if I don't leave, then you can't get dressed, and you can't leave me." He said plainly. You looked at the clock, and then him. You only had 10 minutes left. Finally, you went to your closet and grabbed a long black sleeved shirt and a pair of skinny jeans. You went to the bathroom and changed. Just as you were leaving the bathroom, there was a knock on the door. You started walking to the door but Jack stopped you. "Jack, I won't be there long." You told him. "THAT'S NOT THE POINT!" He yelled at you. Your eye opened in surprise and you backed away from him. You didn't want to go to this party, but if you didn't show you would be letting down your two friends. Jack stared at the floor. "Jack, what is the point?" You gently asked him. He looked at your (Eye color) eyes and gently whispered, "B-Because I don't want you to go with him and develop feelings for him." "Jack, I promise on my life, that at this party I won't fall in love with him." You told him. Just then, the door opened and you heard your guy friend's voice. "(Y/N)! You here?" He yelled. "Yes, I'll be down in a minute!" You yelled back. Looking back at Jack, you hugged him. "Jack, I won't be there very long. Just, stay here until I get back. Please?" You asked him. He sighed and nodded his head. You sadly smiled at him and went downstairs to walk with your friend to the party. While you were walking to the party, all you could think of was the way Jack was acting. You felt bad for leaving him there alone, but you had to go to the party. The party was only 3 blocks away from your house so it didn't take long to get there. Once you got to where the party was, you were greeted by (Friend's Name). "Ahhh! (Y/N)! You made it!" You smiled and looked around. "I can't stay long though I'm afraid. I have some stuff to finish at home." You said sadly. She nodded and looked around too. Suddenly you felt a hand on your shoulder. You jumped and turned around. You saw your guy friend and he pulled you aside. "Umm, (Y/N), I've really liked you for while now and it was (Friends Name) idea to have me ask you to this party. So I was wondering if you wanted to go out with me?" You stared at him and felt tears coming to your eyes. "I-I'm sorry, but I can't. I'm in love with someone else." You tell him and rush off to find (Friend's Name). You found her and pulled her aside. "(Friend's Name) did you have him ask me to this party for a date?" You asked her. "Well yes, I mean he likes you so why not? Oh this means he asked you! Did you say yes!" She quickly asked. "(Friend's Name) I'm in love with somebody else. I said no. I'm going to leave now before he makes this awkward." You say and leave. Once you got out, you ran back home. You opened the door and looked at the clock on your wall. "10 minutes! I was gone for 10 minutes!" You whispered. You went to your living room to see Jack sitting in the chair with his head in his hands. You quietly walk over to him and put a hand on his shoulder. He jumps and quickly wipes his mask off. "Hey, you were right." You say quietly. "It was a date and he asked me out." Jack jumps up and grabs your shoulders and you could feel him trembling. "W-What did you say!" He asks. You grab his hands and look at the ground. "I-I said no." You whispered. "What?" Jack asked as if he hadn't heard you. "I said no because I'm in love with someone else!" You say louder. Jack starts shaking again. "Jack, why does it matter who I go out with?" You asked him quietly. Jack stops shaking and pulls you into a hug quickly. "B-Because (Y/N). I-I'm in love with you and I don't want you to be anyone else's!" He says. This time, it was your turn to start trembling. Jack pulls away from the hug and runs out the door. You stood there and kept repeating the scene that just happened through your mind.
