A Shoulder To Lean On

I walked to the train station.

The wind is blowing and I'm a mess. According to my phone, the weather will take a turn for the worse.

I sat on the seat I woke up on all those years ago.

I looked over to the end of the station where I last saw you standing.

Guess what?

I went to a work outing yesterday. We went for drinks at Da-Eun's. You probably would've loved the place. I sure did! The music they played is beautiful.

One of my co-workers put her arm around me after her fourth bottle.

Apparently... I'm very pretty!

I shooed her off and replied with a 'no you are'...

Then she cupped her hand just like you did all those years ago and chuckled into my ear...

I don't blame her for those nasty words... alcohol is said to bring out our inner thoughts. I just—I guess I wasn't as close to my co-workers as I thought...

I just wish this station could travel back in time.

If it could... I would see you. I would pick up your hat and...

...and...

...I'd step onto your side...

...and never leave it.
