after just over seven years of marriage, the taylor-johnson's are no more. as of this morning, representatives for the couple have released a statement confirming weeks of rumors: "after several years of a loving marriage, sam and aaron have regretfully decided to part ways. this was not a easy decision nor one that has been taken lightly. the split is mutual, and they remain very supportive of one another, however their marriage was no longer working and it is best if they go forward and simply remain friends. they ask for respect and privacy during this difficult time."
the news comes after speculation had been swirling about tensions in their relationship, which has been highly scrutinized by the public for their twenty three year age-gap. they were last seen together on their seven year anniversary on june 21st, but just a few weeks later he was seen moving out of the couples los angeles home. it was clear things were definitely over though when johnson was photographed flying into heathrow airport in london ahead of the announcement.
