                                   Friday.

I had just finished a session with an elderly lady, as I straightened my office, my door opened, but I didn't look- expecting my nurse to speak.

Once I heard the door shut and no speaking- I turned, seeing Mila.

"Mila, I'm sorry- my nurse normally gives me a bit of a warning before she lets anyone back here" I excused myself, seeing her smile lightly to dismiss it.

"What game are you feeling like playing today, I have Monopoly, Goldfish-" "Jenga?" She spoke slowly.

"Perfect" I spoke, grabbing the Jenga box.

I set the pieces up as she watched.

"I believe last time we left off, it was your turn to share a fact" I spoke, seeing her eyes flick from what I was doing, to my eyes.

"I like being really cold when I fall asleep" she spoke quietly.

"What?" I immediately laughed out.

"Why do you like to be cold?" I shot to her.

She shrugged lightly.

"I like being able to pull all of my sheets over me" she mumbled.

"You like being cold so that you can cover up?" I questioned, a smile on my face .

"Yes" She confirmed with a smile.

"Okay" I gave in with a laugh.

"I had a lip ring when I was in college" I spoke, seeing her eyebrows move together as she went for one of the pieces, slowly and carefully pulling it out.

"The girls loved it." I spoke cockily, hearing her laugh lightly- which was a first time.

"I'm sure they did" she barely spoke.

"Are you being sarcastic?" I quickly questioned, seeing her innocent eyes move to me, a smile never leaving her face.

"No" she lied, making me laugh.

She thought as I went for a piece, slowly pulling it out.

"My appendix ruptured when I was five, I almost died because my parents didn't take it serious" she mumbled out.

"They didn't take it serious?" I questioned.

"They thought I was just exaggerating" she summed the story up

"Did they do that a lot?" I asked her.

"What?" She questioned back.

"Did they dismiss how you felt a lot?" I asked.

I could tell this question hit her differently.

She went silent for a moment, looking to the side of her.

"It's your turn" she mumbled after a moment.

I nodded, accepting the fact that she didn't want to answer the question, but noting that in my head.

"When I was little, I wanted to be a police officer" I spoke to her, seeing her smile lightly as she easily pulled a side piece out.

"I've never had shots" she spoke- making me instantly look to her.

"Don't judge me, please" she immediately spoke, her eyes looking down.

"I'm not judging you" I spoke instantly to her.

"But that's important Mila-" "I know, but it's not my fault and Blake is pissed about it" she almost whispered, making me move closer to her, focusing away from the game and to her.

"Blake is one of your-" "the chubby one" she spoke, making me nod, understanding.

"He wants you to get the shots?" I asked her

"They're going to talk to you about it" she mumbled out, never looking to me.

I nodded slowly

"How's that make you feel?" I asked her slowly.

"Scared"
