"Breathe" I spoke to her quietly, kissing her knuckles, keeping eye contact with her.

I watched her take a few deep breaths before she spoke again.

"It scares me" she mumbled out

"What scares you?" I asked her.

"H-how much I want to trust you"

——————————

I woke up sitting on the floor next to her bed, my hand still holding hers tightly, my head laying on her mattress.

There's a first time for everything

I noticed a blanket on me that I hadn't put there- I glanced around the room, seeing Griffin and Blake asleep on the couch together.

I looked to Mila, seeing her sleeping towards me, holding my one hand with both of hers

I noticed she only had a sheet on her bed- telling me the blanket over my body was hers.

I slowly stood, pulling my hand from hers, luckily not waking her.

I covered her, walking out of the room, seeing Calum in his office.

I rubbed my neck as I entered.

"Slept good?" He almost immediately grinned, handing me a coffee.

"Honestly, I didn't mind it" I laughed out lightly.

"Her discharge papers are ready, we just have to wake her up" he mumbled, making me slowly nod.

After several minutes of just talking back and forth, we went to her room, seeing Blake and Griffin talking as they cuddled into each other.

"Morning" Calum smiles quietly, looking to the bundled up, sleeping Mila.

"Her discharge papers are at the nurses station, you guys can go sign her out, we'll wake her up and get her ready" Calum smiled, making them both immediately nod, leaving.

As Calum took her IV out, I noticed the chill bumps on her arm, knowing she was cold.

I ran to my office, grabbing one of my hoodies before running back.

I walked in as he placed a bandaid over the spot, looking to me.

"I'll give you the honors of waking her" he spoke, standing and moving from her.

I slowly rubbed her arms, getting short reactions from her, such as stretches or finger twitches.

"Mila, you get to go home" I spoke slowly, hearing the shortest whine come from her.

Within seconds, I watched her eyes flutter open.

"There's those pretty green eyes" I spoke, watching her slowly blink.

"It's out" I spoke as she looked to where to IV was, making her slowly nod.

She sat up, keeping the blankets pulled up on her.

"Here, put this on" I spoke, helping her slip into the hoodie.

"I'll give it back tomorrow" she spoke quietly

"Don't worry about it" I sent her the smallest wink.

I helped her stand, making sure she felt good.

Calum and I watched her slip her vans on, sending us a lazy smile.

Griffin and Blake entered as I handed her, her charger and phone.

"Thank you guys" Blake smiles, shaking our hands.

"Anytime, call us if you need anything, at all."
